Instructions
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in a warm water bath until they are ready to be used.
- Start by dicing your chicken according to the description above then add the diced chicken breast into a medium bowl along with the avocado oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper and garlic powder and marinate in the fridge until you run out of patience or at least 15-20 minutes.
- Once your chicken is done marinating, grab your skewers and thread the chicken chunks one by one until you have evenly distributed them amongst the skewers.
- Pre-heat your air-fryer to 400 F and Cook them for 14-16 minutes, flipping half way through or until they are no longer pink in the center and their internal temperature reaches 165F. Make sure not to overcook them or they will dry out.
- While your chicken skewers are cooking, add your butter to a small microwaveable bowl and heat up for 30 seconds until it is melted, then add in your minced garlic and lemon pepper seasoning. Stir until well combined. When your chicken is done cooking, use a basting brush to evenly brush the mixture on top of the chicken skewers, serve with suggested sides and enjoy!
