My Nutrition Philosophy
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I firmly believe that all foods can fit into a balanced diet when consumed in moderation—unless there is a medical reason or food intolerance that requires otherwise. Personally, I do not subscribe to any specific diet or restrictive way of eating. I avoid labeling foods as “good” or “bad,” because food itself does not carry moral value. Instead, I view food in terms of nutrient density—some choices are more nutrient-dense, while others are less so.
My approach emphasizes a diet rich in minimally processed, nutrient-dense foods most of the time, while also allowing the flexibility to enjoy all types of foods without guilt or restriction. In both my personal experience and professional practice, it is clear that unnecessary restriction often leads to a strained relationship with food. For this reason, I advocate for food freedom and a balanced, sustainable approach to eating.
That said, I recognize that many individuals have dietary needs due to allergies, intolerances, or personal preferences. That’s why you’ll also find a variety of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free recipes on my page—to help support diverse needs while still focusing on nourishing, satisfying meals.
