Brie and Fig Bites (Easy Appetizer!)

Brie and Fig Bites are the perfect holiday appetizer! Buttery puff pastry, creamy brie, and sweet fig jam baked into golden brown perfection.

Equipment

  • Mini muffin tin or silicone mini muffin cups
  • Sharp knife or pizza cutter
  • Rolling pin (optional if your pastry needs flattening)
  • Baking Sheet
  • Cooking spray
  • Clean or lightly floured surface

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Puff pastry sheet sliced into 24 pieces
  • 7 oz Small brie round sliced into 24 pieces
  • ½ cup Fig jam or fig preserves
  • Cooking spray I use avocado oil
  • Fresh rosemary for garnish
  • 4 oz Pomegranate arils for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Prep your pastry cups. Preheat your oven to 425 F. Cut your puff pastry sheet into 24 squares (6 strips vertically, 4 horizontally). Place each square into a mini muffin tin and press gently so the bottom is flat.
  • Add the fillings. Add one small slice of brie (room temperature works best!) to each pastry cup. Spoon 1 teaspoon of sweet fig jam on top.
  • Bake until golden brown. Spray lightly with cooking spray and bake 10–12 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. Use a metal spatula if any need help releasing!
  • Garnish and serve. Top with fresh rosemary and pomegranate seeds for the prettiest color pop. Serve warm and watch everyone devour them!
