A homemade version of the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso that is not absolutely delicious and easy to make, but is also dairy-free and way more affordable!
Place a small pot on medium high heat. Add your water and your sugar. Mix and until the sugar dissolves and you start to see some small bubbles form, lower your heat and let simmer until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat. Let cool and use!
Store your leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 7-10 days.
For the Drink
Add ½ cup crushed ice to a shaker bottle then add 2-3 shots of espresso. Add 2 Tbs of brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon. Shake shake shake until super well combined and your espresso begins to cool.
Grab a separate large cup, add crushed ice, pour your espresso mixture into the cup. Top off with oatmilk. ENJOY!!!
Optional: If you're being extra like me you can top off with cold foam on top. See instructions below!
For the Optional Cold Foam Topping
In a small separate container, add half and half, vanilla extract and brown sugar simple syrup. Use a hand mixer to whip your half and half until it becomes light and frothy.
Pour on top of your drink and ENJOY!
