Layer your ingredients – Place the chicken breasts or thighs in the bottom of your slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch packet on top. Add the green beans and top with the sliced butter.
Cook – Cover and cook on high for 2–4 hours or low for 5–6 hours. For best results, check the chicken on the earlier end to prevent overcooked and dry chicken. Every crockpot cooks a little differently!
Serve & enjoy – Plate as-is or serve over rice. Add a sprinkle of cheddar cheese if you want it extra cozy, or even a spoonful of cream cheese for a little creaminess!
