Preheat your oven to 350 F and set your rack to the middle position.
Cook the tortellini according to the instructions on the packaging.
In a large pan on medium high heat, add in your avocado oil, followed by your lean ground beef and seasonings, to taste. Use a meat masher to break apart the beef and cook for about 4-5 minutes or until your beef is no longer pink and reaches an internal temperature of 160F.
Add your cooked tortellini into a ceramic casserole dish followed by your cooked ground beef, 6 ounces of marinara sauce and your fresh spinach. Mix until everything is well combined.
Add an additional 6 ounces of marinara sauce on top in an even layer followed by your shredded mozzarella cheese in an even layer.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until your cheese is melty and then broil for 1-2 minutes on high until the cheese becomes browned and bubbly. Remove from the oven, garnish with shredded fresh basil, serve and enjoy!
