This easy latte recipe comes together in minutes and is made with pantry staples you likely already have:
- low-fat milk – for a lighter yet creamy texture (use regular milk or a plant-based milk like almond milk or soy milk)
- shots of espresso – use your espresso machine, nespresso machine or instant coffee with hot water
- brown sugar – gives this latte its signature brown sugar flavors and caramel depth
- ground cinnamon – adds a comforting blend of spice and warmth to the drink

Instructions

Step 1:Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar into a mug (if you’re enjoying it hot, or a tall glass if you are enjoying it cold)
Step 2: Then brew 2 espresso shots using your favorite espresso machine or use instant coffee dissolved in a bit of hot water for a rich espresso base. Use a small spoon to stir the sugar and espresso together.

Step 3: If you are enjoying your drink hot, add ¾ cup of your milk of choice into a milk frother and froth your milk or you can use a hand frother as well. Pour over your brown sugar and espresso. If you are enjoying this drink cold, add in a handful of ice cubes and then add in your cold milk. Top with a dash of cinnamon and enjoy!
Substitutions
Milk: Swap low-fat milk with almond milk, cashew milk, soy milk, or creamy oatmilk for a plant-based version that’s also dairy-free.
