Instructions
- In a gallon sized plastic baggy, add your cubed chicken, garlic, soy sauce, honey, olive oil and seasonings, to taste. Once you have added everything into the bag, remove the excess air and seal the bag. Use your fingers to massage/mix the marinade from the outside of the bag until everything is well dispersed.
- While you are marinating your honey garlic chicken, you can prepare your side vegetable(s) and your whole grain carbohydrate/starch source for your meal!
- Once your honey garlic chicken is marinated to your liking, remove it from the fridge. Set a medium pan to medium high heat and pour the contents of your bag into the pan.
- Cook your honey garlic chicken for at least 12-15 minutes or until your chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 F. Make sure you are stirring in between to prevent burning and allowing for an even browning/searing on all sides.
- Serve honey garlic chicken with your prepared sides! Enjoy!
Hint: I would recommend placing the honey garlic chicken bag in the fridge and letting the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour, however, if you only have 15-20 minutes, that works also!
