Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a smoothie blender and blend on high for 1 minute, scrape the side using a rubber spatula and blend for an additional 20-30 seconds until everything is well combined. Serve and top with some additional hemp seeds, chia seeds and cocoa nibs, as desired.
Hint: Smoothies taste best when they are consumed shortly after blending.

- Vegan – If you would like to make this recipe vegan, be sure to use a plant based milk choice such as oat milk or almond milk. Also, make sure to choose a plant based protein powder instead of a whey based protein powder.
- Dairy-free – if you would like to make this recipe dairy-free, just make sure to use a non-dairy milk such as almond milk, coconut milk or oat milk.

This chocolate cherry protein smoothie can be prepared ahead of time in batches and stored in the freezer until you are ready to blend and serve it.
Here’s how: Add all of your ingredients aside from your milk of choice into a freezer bag or mason jar and place the bag into the freezer until you are ready to make it! When you are ready, all you need to do is add the your milk of choice (liquid) and blend!
